The Children of Lir The Possak Hampshire Academy's bienneal concert follows the story of the Children of Lir, the mythological tale of King Lir’s four children, transformed by a sorceress and destined to spend hundreds of years as enchanted swans. This well-loved tale from Ireland’s lore has inspired music, art, poetry, and dance throughout Ireland’s history, and we look forward to bringing it to the stage.
